Nab is a street artist based in Beirut who explores ways of combining both his passions: photography and art. His pieces expresse his way of life and vision of the paradoxal reality of Lebanon and wartorn childhood. Wanderer throughout the Middle East, Europe and Africa, he devoted his art creating a world where interbreeding imagination has no limit.
His endeavour for photography and willingness to reach out to the street bystanders pushes him to raise questions and call to mind of the Lebanese on subjects linked to the incongruity of a society mixing communities, religions, politics, war and conflicts. He also focuses his approach on a vision of tradition and modernism of a country torned between archaism and excessive globalization.
Nab’s vision is to wander through the Lebanese cultures and everyday life and immortalize specific moments by shaping them through stencil graffiti.
